Running the wheels in a sports car is not just a performance issue, it is an image, a character, and the aspects of wow factor each time you make an appearance. I just made a purchase of a set of rims on my ride with Tire Agent (model 8719 / 11313) and I could not be more excited. This is my entire and excited review of the process, including unboxing and installation to the current appearance of my car.

Why I Chose These Rims

To start with, the rims caught my attention because they seemed violent and sophisticated at the same time. Although I could not locate a specific spec sheet for the part number 8719 / 11313 on the Tire Agent (the product was not listed on the site with detailed dimensions and finish), the listing implied that they were performance-oriented and fit my bolt pattern. Tire Agent has a reputation of stocking an extensive range of wheel brands and finishes and therefore, I had confidence in the quality being sound.

Unboxing & First Impressions

Upon arrival of the rims, they were well packaged. Each rim was individually packed and cushioned to prevent scuffing and damage during transportation. The finish (appearing to be a dark metallic or gunmetal) was immaculate, it had no dots, and the workmanship was of a premium.

I put my hand around the rim, and I felt how solid and well-balanced they were. They were not racing alloy lightweight but they carried that good mix of power and good looks.

How I Installed Them on my Sports Car

1. Preparation

I began by making the car safe by placing it on stands with a jack. I took away the old wheels, removed the dust in the brakes off the hubs, and lightly greased the hub surfaces to allow the new rims to fit.

2. Fitting

I fitted the new rims, and it was necessary to ensure that the pattern of the bolts was correct (fortunately, they were compatible with my car features). I used hand tightening of the lug nuts and then I had to lower the car in order to tighten the lug nuts to the required measurements as recommended by the manufacturer.

3. Balancing & Checking

I went to the local tires shop after the car was installed. They counterbalanced each set of rim and tire and this was useful in preventing any wobble or vibrations at higher speeds. Another reason was that I went out for a short spin to check the torque after the first few miles, to be on the safe side.

The Way it Changed the Appearance of My Car

The contrast is visual: between day and night. The new rims also provide my car with a more aggressive position and the darker metallic finish is a perfect match to my paint. It is not excessive, it is just perfect.

These rims do not only look good when they are not in motion, but when I am driving they pop:

  • Feel: The wheels are more muscular and confident and it gives the car a performance-based appearance.
  • Shine: The finish is not excessively flashy, yet it possesses a slight shine under the sunlight and its appearance is very beautiful.
  • Ride Quality: Once in balance, it is vibration free, up to highway speeds. The ride is smooth and the reaction is sharp.

Driving Experience and Performance

  • Handling: I felt a little better cornering. The new rims are rigid and stable providing a more planted feel.
  • Acceleration: Rims alone do not create a significant difference in the power, but the lightness of them (if the rim is actually lighter) provides a slight but noticeable increase in power when doing launches.
  • Braking: There were no negative experiences related to the brakes, they performed similarly, and I was not afraid even during hard stops.

What I Loved

  • Significant cosmetic enhancement, my sports car is harder and meaner.
  • Well-finished, no blemishes, very well-built.
  • The rims were well-balanced and easy to install.
  • Very good in terms of design and performance feel.

Things to Think About

  • Specs, such as width, offset, or weight were not well explained in the listing of the Tire Agent, allowing me to locate a suitable one only after a thorough verification of fitment.
  • Breeches or fenders may require clearance, depending on size.
  • They are not necessarily the lightest rims that can be found but they find a good balance between durability and performance.

Final Verdict

100% a win. These tire rims by Tire Agent have changed my sports car in the most ideal manner. They gave them a performance-focused, acute touch, enhanced the driving experience, and didn't seem like a cosmetic-only buy.
