Jay Z Talks About 'Felt The Pain' of Cheating on Beyoncé in an Old Video
The famous hip-hop star, Jay-Z, made a surprising confession about his marriage to Beyoncé, causing quite a stir in the entertainment world.
During an old interview with Dean Baquet for The New York Times, Jay-Z revealed that he had been unfaithful to Beyoncé while they were married, blaming it on his childhood struggles.
In the interview, Jay-Z talked about his song "The Story of OJ" from his album "4:44" and opened up about his marriage and personal challenges.
"You have to survive, so you go into survival mode. What happens when you go into survival mode? You shut down all emotions," said a regretful Jay Z.
As the conversation continues, he tells on the main reason he cheated. "So, even with women, you going to shut down emotionally, so you can't connect. In my case, it's deep. And then all the things happen from there: infidelity."
