Not to be outdone, Tom got his own tattoo honoring Zendaya. His features a small "Z" on the top of his ribcage, making their commitment even more special.
The couple got their tattoos on November 27 at Boston Tattoo Company. Lily Jarnryd, the tattoo artist who worked with them, shared with People how enjoyable it was to meet the pair, describing them as "lovely."
News of their engagement broke after Zendaya debuted her stunning engagement ring—a 5.02-carat East-West Cushion Diamond Button Back Ring by Jessica McCormack—at the Golden Globes on January 5. TMZ first reported the engagement, later confirmed by People, revealing that Tom proposed during the holiday season and shared the news with friends around New Year’s.
Tom’s thoughtful planning for the proposal may have started earlier than expected. Internet fans noticed Zendaya had liked a photo of a similar wedding ring back in 2022, hinting at the possibility that Tom had been preparing for this moment for a while.
