Emma Roberts, the "American Horror Story" star, has announced her engagement!
The 33-year-old actress shared the exciting news on Instagram on Tuesday. In her post, Roberts is seen with her boyfriend, Cody John, proudly showing off her engagement ring.
"Putting this here before my mom tells everyone," she humorously captioned the photo.
Previously, Roberts was in a relationship with actor Garrett Hedlund, with whom she shares a son named Rhodes, born in 2020. Their relationship ended in 2022. In 2023, Roberts jokingly called out her mom for posting a photo of Rhodes on social media without her permission, but she added that she still loves them both.
Roberts also dated her "American Horror Story" co-star Evan Peters. They were engaged but called it off in 2019. In 2013, Roberts was involved in a domestic dispute with Peters, which the couple later described as a "misunderstanding."
Roberts and John made their relationship public in August 2022 when John posted a photo of them kissing on a boat with the caption "Sweet sweet."
Recently, Roberts mentioned John in an interview with People, sharing that they both watched "The Iron Claw" together and ended up crying and laughing at their own tears.
Reflecting on her career, Roberts told Flaunt magazine, "I've lost more jobs than I’ve gained from being in the business. People have opinions, and sometimes they’re not good opinions of people in your family. I've never gotten a job because of it, and I know I definitely have lost a couple of jobs because of it."
