Matty Healy, the lead singer of The 1975, is engaged to his model girlfriend, Gabbriette Bechtel!

The couple announced their engagement late Tuesday night after attending Charli XCX's Brat show in Brooklyn. Bechtel shared photos flaunting her new ring, which features a black gem surrounded by pavé diamonds.

"Marrying The 1975 is very brat," she captioned the photo, tagging Healy. Healy then re-shared her post on Instagram.

Healy's mother, actress Denise Welch, confirmed the happy news on Wednesday's episode of Loose Women. "I've known for a few weeks that Matty got engaged... They went to see Charli and George in New York, and now it's Instagram official. He's engaged to Gabriella Bechtel—Gabbriette. He had a black diamond ring made for her. We couldn't be happier, she's everything I want in a daughter-in-law," she said.

Bechtel was first seen wearing the ring in late May. The 35-year-old British rocker and 26-year-old model were first linked in September when they were spotted kissing and holding hands in New York City. Soon after, Healy confirmed their relationship.

In an interview with Homme Girls, Bechtel revealed they had been trying to meet for four years. "He came to L.A., and we've been in love ever since," she shared, adding that they love ordering takeout and playing Fortnite in bed.

Bechtel, known for her food videos on social media, is working on a cookbook. She previously dated model Levi Dylan, while Healy was linked to model Meredith Mickelson after his split from Taylor Swift. Healy recently wrapped up The 1975's North American tour and is now working on new music.
