Josh Brolin really wanted to play Cable again in the Deadpool movies with Ryan Reynolds. But now it seems he won't be in the new movie Deadpool & Wolverine. He's taking it okay, though.
When asked in an interview about being in the cast for Deadpool & Wolverine, Josh laughed and said he's not in the movie. He joked, "I so wanted to be in that movie."
He also talked about how the Marvel world is complicated. He needs to understand what's happening now, especially since Disney took over. But he loved playing Cable in Deadpool 2. In that movie, Cable comes from the future to stop a kid from doing bad things. At the end of the movie, Cable and Deadpool team up.
Originally, Josh was supposed to be in three more Deadpool movies. But Disney buying Fox changed things.
Even though he's not in the new Deadpool movie, Josh is still excited to see it. He's especially excited because Hugh Jackman is back as Wolverine. Josh thinks Hugh is great and doesn't seem to age. He's a big fan of Hugh's.
