Kourtney Kardashian has shared an exciting update on her evolving family life with husband Travis Barker. During a recent episode of The Kardashians, the reality star, 45, revealed that she and Travis are finally moving to live together. This decision comes after a deliberate approach, considering the comfort and familiarity of their children in their respective homes.
"Travis and I have really been taking our time with figuring out where it makes sense for us to live together because the kids are all so comfortable in their spaces," Kourtney explained during the episode. The couple, who welcomed their baby boy, Rocky Thirteen, in November 2023, are preparing to merge households.
Kourtney already has three children, Mason, 14, and Reign, 9, and daughter Penelope, 11, from her previous relationship with Scott Disick.
She described their plan: "We're going to move into his house, which is a block away, and then redo my house at the same time so that we can all be together, living under one roof with the baby."
In addition to preparing their living arrangements, Kourtney showed her mom, Kris Jenner, around Travis's house, highlighting Halloween decorations and revealing a drum set in Rocky's room. "He's going to get used to some drums," she told her mom.
The family dynamics also include Travis's older children from his previous marriage to Shanna Moakler: son Landon, 20, daughter Alabama, 18, and stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya, 24.
This isn't the first time Kardashian has been open about her home life with her musician husband. In October 2022, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians alum discussed their living situation during an interview with Amanda Hirsch on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, just a few months after she and Barker got married.
"We're in the process of figuring out how to blend our households and our kids, and what life looks like now," Kardashian said at the time. "For the most part, we're getting those things in place. We have a family dinner every Sunday night with all the kids at his house."
She added, "We want our kids to feel really comfortable. They have both lived in their homes their whole lives for the most part, and, they each have their rooms. We live a block away."
The couple got legally married in Santa Barbara in May 2022, followed by a lavish wedding ceremony in Italy.
