Rapper GloRilla, also known as Gloria Hallelujah Woods, got into trouble recently. She was arrested in Suwanee, Georgia, for a few things: driving under the influence, having an open container in her car, and not following a traffic rule.
It happened on the morning of April 16. GloRilla allegedly made a U-turn at a red light, which she wasn't supposed to do. When the police pulled her over, they noticed that her eyes were red and watery, and they could smell alcohol and marijuana in her car.
GloRilla admitted to having some drinks earlier but didn't say how many. She told the officer she was OK to drive, but they noticed she was having trouble speaking clearly and finishing her sentences. Another officer came to help with tests to see if she was okay to drive, but GloRilla had a hard time with them and refused to take a breath test.
When the police searched her car, they found marijuana and an open bottle of alcohol. They took GloRilla to the Gwinnett County Detention Center and charged her. She stayed there from 6:12 a.m. to 9:41 a.m. until she paid a bond of $1956 and was released.
