A cat named Galena from Utah went missing and turned 650 miles away in California. Galena's owners, Carrie and Matt, were worried sick when she disappeared from their home in Lehi. They searched everywhere and put up flyers but couldn't find her. Then, they got a surprising call from a vet in California saying Galena was there.
It turned out that Galena had hidden in an Amazon box while her owners were returning shoes. She accidentally got shipped away with the package! She was stuck in the box for six days without food or water until an Amazon worker found her. The worker, named Brandy Hunter, took care of Galena until she could be reunited with her family.
Luckily, Galena wasn't hurt, just a bit dehydrated. Her owners flew to California to bring her back home. They were relieved to have her back safe and sound. Carrie wants other pet owners to remember to microchip their pets and be careful with their Amazon packages.
