Taylor Swift is back at the top! Her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department, has returned to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart for the week of August 10. This is the 13th nonconsecutive week Swift has held the top spot since the album’s release on April 19.
The album previously topped the chart for its first 12 weeks. It briefly lost the top position in late July when Eminem’s album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce), took over. For the past two weeks, TTPD had been at No. 4, while Stray Kids’ new mini-album later replaced Eminem’s album.
Swift’s continued success on the charts is fueled by her record-breaking Eras Tour and the release of new versions of the album. On August 3, she released a new digital edition of TTPD with a bonus track titled “My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys (First Draft Phone Memo),” available for just 24 hours.
In July, Swift celebrated her 12th week at No. 1, sharing her excitement on Instagram. She thanked her fans for their support, noting that it was the first time an album of hers had stayed at No. 1 for so long.
Swift recently performed in Warsaw, Poland, where she celebrated the Eras Tour’s record-breaking achievement of three sold-out nights at the stadium. She will next perform in Vienna from August 8 to 10 and return to London for five more sold-out shows at Wembley Stadium from August 15 to 20.
