Cardi B is not naming her third baby "Hurricane."

On Sunday, Sept. 1, the 31-year-old rapper addressed online rumors after fans speculated they had guessed the name of her unborn child.

A fan page on X posted a photo with the caption, “Cardi shares ultrasound pic of baby ‘Hurricane,’” referring to an image Cardi shared on Instagram that day. “Who???” Cardi responded, adding crying emojis to express her disbelief.

Cardi is already a mom to daughter Kulture Kiari, 6, and son Wave Set, who is about to turn 3 on Sept. 4. She shares her children with her estranged husband Offset.

Cardi B announced her third pregnancy on Aug. 1 via social media, the same day she filed for divorce from Offset after six years of marriage. In her announcement, she wrote, “With every ending comes a new beginning!”

Despite filing for divorce, Cardi and Offset were both present and appeared to be in good spirits at Wave Set's third birthday party. The airplane-themed celebration took place just before Wave’s birthday, with both Cardi and Offset sharing clips of the event on their Instagram Stories on Aug. 31. One video showed Wave dancing with his dad, while another showed Cardi holding the birthday boy, proudly displaying her growing baby bump.
